Impasto is a painting style in which paint is laid on canvas in thick layers creating an almost three-dimensional effect. Take Vincent Van Gogh’s very famous ‘Starry Night’ for example.

When mixed with this Artisan Impasto Oil Medium, paint can be built in several layers once the previous layer is dry. Colour resists yellowing and can be easily cleaned with water.
